Meet the Artist

From an early age, Seán had a deep love of art and animals, having pets his whole life he knows personally the depth of love shared between people and their furry companions. Being on the spectrum has not been easy, yet has allowed Seán to feel uniquely into his art, capturing the love and emotion of those that he paints.

Seán spent 2 decades as a graphic designer and 8 years as a disability carer, however his passion for painting ignited in a profound way whilst helping his daughter paint her Poppy's dog who has passed away.

It was this first time painting with acrylic on canvas together that took Seán on an incredible journey, opening a door to an extraordinary exploration of his art, which led to becoming a full time artist.

Seán is also a Qigong Master, Energy therapist and Meditation practitioner. Whilst painting, he enters a relaxed Flow°State similar to Qigong and Meditation, from this place the painting begins to reveal itself.

Seán paints with 'feeling', being in FlowºState enables him to access his creativity emotionally and 'feel' into the emotional field of the animals he paints, either in the physical or spirit, sensing more than he sees with his physical eyes. Whilst looking at the image of the animal he is painting, he can intuitively express the emotional landscape of his subject visually on canvas.
 
Seán is dedicated to capturing the emotional essence of your animal, his/her special signature, the feelings and memory of that beautiful moment in time. Your painting is a unique piece of art that can be revisited, re-membered, and shared always. A precious reminder of their unconditional love for you.

He knows how much your animal means to you and wants to capture that emotional connection through your painting. Communicating via email to get your animal’s story and any relevant information is done before he begins painting. Post checkout Seán will follow up with visual updates as the painting progresses.
